A word from our Founder, Kenny:
Sometimes I'll close my eyes and think back to that day on the lake where I first heard God speak and I'm amazed. Amazed at how He used a fearful young man, a faithful woman and His powerful Word to build something I could never have imagined. I'm truly humbled.
- To this day, Kenny still faithfully wears Shields of Strength. He enjoys the opportunity to share his story and will give away his own personal necklace to share God's Word with someone who needs it.

Our Mission: To share the love, hope, forgiveness, and power of God’s Word with others and to see people victorious in life’s battles and in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our story began when Scripture gave our Founder, Kenny, the courage to face his fears. He later engraved Scripture on dog tags in order to carry God's Word close to him. The dog tags provided a reason for Kenny to share his testimony and pass on the gift of God's Word. It wasn’t long before Kenny realized that other people needed Scripture as much as he did, and that’s when he decided to create Shields of Strength.
